FURTHER NOTES
-This page has been designed to serve as a reference for educators interested in digital stories and this project. Our specific goals and objectives have been outlined here, along with expectations. Adaptations to this activity are encouraged.
-The iMovie project can be simplified for students if their computer ability is lower.
-While this project was designed for more intermediate level students, the project can also be adapted for higher and lower level students. Suggestions include longer stories with more development for more advanced students, or simpler stories with less vocabulary or plot development for beginners.
-This activity has been designed with iMovie. As not all computer users are familiar with this, the above requirements could be adapted for the Windows Movie Maker as needed.
-This activity is best suited for an EFL or ESL classroom that would have access to a computer lab for working together. If students are extremely comfortable with a computer, and only the teacher has one, the teacher could demonstrate and perhaps the students complete the activity as homework.
-This activity can be graded as desired by the instructor.
-This activity can be graded as desired by the instructor.
-Finally, while this project was designed purposefully for high school students, it can be revamped for younger students, or made more challenging for the university level.
